Located on the West side of Cayuga Lake, off of State Route 89
Hosmer Winery is one of the oldest wineries on Cayuga Lake. They are a fully functioning winery estate with 70 acres of grapes with over 10 varieties growing since 1972. The grapes include Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Lemberger, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Riesling, and Sauvignon Blanc, among several other natives and hybrids. In 1985 they produced their first vintage wine and opened their retail and tasting facility in the garage of the estate home that later moved to the renovated barn across the road. Since then Hosmer has won several awards including a Gold Medal for their 2020 Semi-Dry Riesling and a Bronze Medal for their 2020 Dry Riesling from the Atlantic Seaboard Wine Association (ASWA).

They offer two types of tasting experiences- One is outdoor and self-guided while the other is indoor and staff-guided. Reservations can be done online and are recommended.
