For over 40 years Heron Hill Winery has grown cold-climate Riesling and Chardonnay grapes and made elegant world-class wines. Heron Hill has three different vineyard sites which equal 43 acres-16 acres on-site in Hammondsport, 23.5 acres of vinifera grapevines at Ingle Vineyard, and 3 acres from Macri Vineyard located on the west side of Canandaigua Lake.
Heron Hill makes six different cool-climate Rieslings — from dry, terroir-driven reserves to their ethereal ice wines. They have garnered numerous awards for its wines, including “Best of Show- White Wine” at the San Francisco International Wine Competition.
Grape Varieties
Hero Hill tasting rooms offer a premium array of tasting samples including estate wines, late harvest, and limited editions, as well as local microbrews and craft spirit tastings.
Herron Hill Winery Tasting Hall-
Overlooking Keuka Lake, enjoy their broad portfolio of wine focused on Riesling, Chardonnay, and other vinifera varieties. Their Lady of the Lakes bubbly wines, Game Bird series, and dessert wines add great variety to different preferences.
Canandaigua Lake- Opened in 2010, The tasting room is located in the former South Bristol Cultural Center, housed in a renovated 100-year-old barn.

Enhanced Tastings-
Tower Tasting at Heron Hill Tower- Guests enjoy panoramic views of Keuka Lake during their 1 hour guided tasting of four premium wines complemented by local cheeses. The tasting will conclude with a specially selected fifth wine from their library.
