Both Canadice and Hemlock Lakes are highly regarded among anglers as a place to get away from it all and enjoy a day of fishing. Several varieties of trout are stocked annually, ensuring a healthy population of these species. Both trout and salmon may be taken year-round at Canadice.(see NYS fishing regulations for restrictions.)

Black Bass:
Catch and Release = Machr 16 – June 14
Catch and Take =  June 15 – March 15
-Minimum Length-12″
-Daily Limit-5 

YEAR ROUND:
Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, Lake Trout, Atlantic Salmon can be caught all year.

NOTES: Fishing is allowed in most locations on Canadice Lakes, however it is unlawful to possess or operate a boat, to ice fish, to traverse the ice or water, or to fish from shore on Canadice Lake (within the northernmost 500 feet of the lake – marked with buoys).

Do not clean, gut or deposit entrails within 100 feet of any water.
